Command structure. The Commissioner is answerable to the Minister of Interior through the Undersecretary and is responsible for the core functions of the Service. The Deputy Commissioner General coordinates the routine functions of NCDS. Eight Assistant Commissioners lead departments covering administration and finance, state affairs, investment and projects, disaster and emergency, training, safety, logistics and procurement, and corporation and facilities.
